TM512-AL1 DMX512 LED Driver IC, 1-4 Channels, 800Kbps, E2PROM

Description:

The TM512-AL1 is a DMX512 differential parallel protocol LED driver IC, offering high-precision constant current output with selectable 1/2/3/4 channels. It features a decoding forwarding function, allowing for single-line 800Kbps data output via the DO port in a zero-code format. The DO output data directly controls 800Kbps ICs, forwarding up to 192 channels of data.

With precise decoding technology, the TM512-AL1 can decode DMX512 signals, expanding and extending DMX512 protocol compatibility. The chip can adapt to DMX512 signal transmission rates between 200Kbps to 500Kbps without requiring speed setting adjustments, and it supports addressing up to 4096 channels. Built-in E2PROM eliminates the need for external EEPROM and supports online writing.

The chip offers four constant current output channels with a maximum voltage tolerance of 30V and up to 60mA output, with adjustable current through external resistors. Additionally, the TM512-AL1 features a PWM polarity-reversed frequency reduction function, suitable for driving MOSFETs or transistors for increased current driving capacity. The chip provides a high port refresh rate, improving display refresh rates. Multiple constant current output interfaces can be short-circuited to expand current driving capability.

Designed primarily for building decorations and stage lighting effect LED systems, the TM512-AL1 ensures that failures in one chip do not affect the operation of others, simplifying maintenance. The product is reliable and performs excellently.
