The NXP Kinetis K64F series microcontrollers are based on the Arm Cortex-M4 core with DSP instructions and a Floating Point Unit (FPU), running at up to 120 MHz, providing an ideal balance of performance and efficiency. Designed for cost-sensitive applications requiring advanced connectivity, the K64F series integrates a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet MAC, USB 2.0 OTG, and offers up to 1 MB Flash memory and 256 KB SRAM. Devices include multiple low-power modes with run current as low as 250 μA/MHz and deep sleep modes down to 339 nA, combined with fast 5 μs wakeup capability. Security features such as hardware encryption, random number generator, CRC engine, and a unique 128-bit ID ensure data integrity and protection. The family also offers rich analog capabilities with dual 16-bit ADCs and dual 12-bit DACs, plus extensive communication interfaces including CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, SDHC, and I2S, making it suitable for a wide range of connected and industrial applications.
