It features a dual-core architecture with a 32-bit RISC MCU dedicated to Bluetooth protocol processing and an enhanced 8-bit 8051 MCU optimized for user applications, providing high flexibility and efficient performance for various Bluetooth-based smart applications.

The chip supports ultra-low power operation with sleep mode consumption as low as 620nA, making it ideal for battery-powered devices such as Bluetooth scales, iBeacons, HID peripherals, smart lighting, and wireless toys. It integrates a single-ended 2.4GHz RF transceiver supporting GFSK modulation and 1Mbps data rate, with a TX power range from -5dBm to +5dBm and -93dBm receive sensitivity.

On-chip memory includes 80KB ROM, 12KB SRAM, 2KB OTP, and patchable RAM for both MCUs. It also integrates multiple peripherals, such as UART, I2C, SPI, PWM, ADC, and GPIOs. Program loading can be done via I2C/SPI memory or through UART by an external MCU (excluding 8051 core).
