The AiP1628 is a high-performance LED display driver IC designed to control common cathode LED panels with either 10-segment × 7-digit or 13-segment × 4-digit configurations. It features a 3-wire serial interface (CLK, STB, DIO), making it easy to integrate into MCU-based systems. The IC supports a 10×2 key matrix scan, enabling direct input detection without additional hardware.
Built-in display RAM simplifies programming, while the software-adjustable brightness offers 8 levels of luminance control, allowing flexible display performance under various lighting conditions. The internal RC oscillator ensures stable operation without requiring external components.
The AiP1628 is available in SOP28, SSOP28 (0.635mm pitch), and compact QFN28 (4×4mm) packages, making it suitable for space-constrained designs.
